Econopak Flexible Packaging, is a privately owned and managed company with joint share holding and directorate in Gundle® Plastics Limited, allowing Econopak access to supplementary materials, development methods and product capacity. Our policy is to the manufacture and development of innovative, quality flexible plastic film products. Econopak is a national and international supplier of flexible plastic products, successful in retaining and servicing contracts which require Australia wide account management and delivery.

PACKAGING MANUFACTURE AND DEVELOPMENT
Capacity
Econopak Flexible Packaging has installed a capacity in excess of 25% of budgeted demand and therefore is able to easily cope with cyclical or opportunistic demand utilising the current facilities and infrastructure.

BIOPOLY® Degradable Plastics
Econopak Flexible Packaging has developed with its technical partners a range of degradable polyethylene products which are produced on co-extruded format utilising cost effective polymers, thereby making the Biopoly® range a technically advanced,environmentally friendly alternative to standard polyethylene products.
Materials utilised are manufactured under license and FDA approved for use in direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals.
Recycling
In line with the principles of the National Packaging Covenant, Econopak is well placed to meet its responsibilities in terms of product stewardship. Our recycling facility gives our downstream supply chain partners the opportunity to participate in a program that minimises environmental impact.
Recycle materials are utilised in the manufacture of suitable industrial products.
